Contrary to belief, there are many young, motivated and successful professionals between the ages of 20 & 39 living and working throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley region. Unfortunately there are few organized opportunities that cater to this generation’s professional and social need.

With a combination of lively after hour networking events and professional development opportunities, the Young Emerging Professionals makes it easy to build a strong professional and social network that both natives and transplants can instantly engage in.

The Young Emerging Professionals provides opportunities to improve your career, develop your leadership abilities, meet new people and give back to the Lower Naugatuck Valley community – all while having a great time!

YEP’s mission is to connect and engage emerging leaders in their 20’s & 30’s in activities that support our community and the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce while making the Lower Naugatuck Valley region and its surrounding communities a more energetic, exciting and active place to work and live.

YEP will create and connect a diverse network of young professionals working and living in the Lower Naugatuck Valley region and will foster an environment that empowers young professionals to engage in our community through active participation. YEP will collaborate with local leaders, businesses and organizations to assist in recruiting and retaining the region’s top talent in an effort to cultivate and nurture our future leaders.
